At Recyclemart we offer a 'Business Collection Service' within the local community of Corby and the wider Northampton and Northamptonshire district. This service extends our reuse and recycling to the collection of surplus and unwanted re-usable goods.
Our service offers to collect items free of charge from both private and public sector organisations including local businesses, households, schools, hospitals and council services.
The goods that we process includes all electrical, business and household items which may be broken, clearance stock or unused equipment, in fact anything that has a re-use.
We contract to many recycling centres and large retail businesses across the UK refurbishing re-usable electrical and household items.
All items are recycled or made re-usable under exemption with the Enviroment Agency (licence no: NCC/041651/2010) and the 'Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulation' as an Authorised Treatment Facility (Approval no: WEE/US0002ZS/AFT).
For any item that cannot be refurbished and re-used we will ensure that it is recycled appropriately e.g. electrical items would be recycled as required by the EU directive for Waste Electrical and Electronics Equipment (WEEE). To ensure compliance with Environment Agency requirements all of our on-site managers are trained to WAMITAB CoTC level 3 / 4 in Waste Management.
In addition, our staff are licensed to PAT Test electrical items and have also undertaken manual handling training.
On site we have a registered Fire Marshall and First Aiders, and all staff are fully insured to work on-site and off-site to perform all aspects of collection and re-cycle duties.
